About

Hi, I'm Kelly Burnett

I am a qualified counsellor with experience of long and short-term therapy work in a number of areas including many difficult life-long issues.

Prior to training as a therapist I worked within the Health Authority as well as in education and have experience of working with people of all ages.

My therapeutic practice is based around a Person Centred and integrative approach meaning I can tailor therapy to meet the needs of the client. I provide an empathic and non-judgemental environment which allows you to have the time and space you need to understand your feelings and just be yourself.

Together we can explore, at a pace that feels right for you any distressing situations, negative thoughts, relationship problems, work stress or issues from your past, and examine what’s needed to help you move forward and find your true potential.

I hold a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and am a Registered Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), the leading
organisation for counselling and psychotherapy in Britain. Membership of this body ensures I work in accordance with its code of ethics and thus provide an ethical and safe environment in which to practice.
